Q did the recent SC ruling on 'votes not counting if the measure was decided but the ruling not finalized before the judge died' have anything to do with Judge Roll and the gabbyflag shooting? Roll had ruled on govt confiscation of assets before conviction, saying conviction had to occur before confiscation but it was a verbal ruling; and the new (appointed interim) judge reversed the Roll ruling and allowed for confiscation without conviction. Any relationship with that situation?
