Carter is before my time and from what I know his presidency was apparently mediocre, but I've noticed that when these guys all get together, Carter is usually arms-length away from the others.

I sometimes wonder if Carter would have been a superb president if not for deep state fuckery that likely used him as a scapegoat for their Iran ops. Then again, if that's true, I wonder why Carter would not have exposed the deep state. Either way, it's weakness, but he's still not in the circle.
