My family history is the same. Genealogy is all Quakers until my Dad's Great-Grandfather and then it changes to Free Methodist, Nazarene, Wesleyan, Pilgrim Holiness, and Church of God.

Same M.O. thoughโ€ฆ

My siblings and I could take on an entire Adult Bible study class by the time we were 9 or 10โ€ฆ

Reading and studying the Bible for ourselves is just ingrained into our DNA, I guess.

Catholics? Not really. I know 2 ex-Catholics who are now studying and reading scripture, and they both say that they were discouraged from doing that by their Priests when they first began asking questions about the differences between Church Doctrine and what the Bible actually says.
