US amasses special ops in Puerto Rico, army in Colombia to oust Maduro – Russian Security Council
By deploying troops and special ops forces to Puerto Rico and Colombia, Washington is getting ready to intervene in Venezuela and topple its leader, the secretary of Russia’s Security Council said.
The US is “preparing for a military invasion” in Venezuela, Nikolai Patrushev told Russian media on Tuesday.
The relocation of American special forces’ units to Puerto Rico, the deployment of the US Army units to Colombia and other facts evidently show that Pentagon is enhancing its military in the region in order to use it in ousting… President [Nicolas] Maduro.
“The people of Venezuela understand this clearly,” Patrushev said, adding that this notion increases popular support for Maduro and drives the government to reject the aid offered by “an aggressor state.”

United States Sanctions Four Venezuelan Governors For Blocking Humanitarian Aid
The United States has sanctioned four Chavista governors for helping Nicolas Maduro to block the arrival of humanitarian aid into Venezuela.
The Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) of the US Treasury Department has included four new officials aligned with the illegitimate regime of former President Nicolás Maduro on the list of those subject to sanctions.
These include the governors Ramón Carrizales, from Apure state; Jorge Luis García Carneiro, of Vargas; Rafael Lacava, from Carabobo, and Omar Prieto, from Zulia; who, according to the Treasury Department, are “involved in endemic corruption and blocking the delivery of critical humanitarian aid, which is exacerbating the current humanitarian crisis caused by the illegitimate regime of Nicolas Maduro.”

“The illegitimate attempts of the Maduro regime to block international aid destined for the Venezuelan people are shameful.
