That's not exactly what he said. He basically says they should be imprisoned and they will eventually die off bc they can't reproduce.

But that doesn't really make sense bc they can't reproduce anyways.

Homos have been around since ancient times. It's really nothing new.

Nothing new under the sun!

Martin Luther was a Catholic priest who protested against the Catholic church.

In 1517 he nailed his 95 theises (greviences)

against the Catholic church onto the door of the church in Wittenberg

Ofcourse the Catholic church excommunicated him.

He translated the Bible from Latin into German so that people could read the Bible for themselves.

The Catholic church was corrupt back then and it still is corrupt.

But that doesn't mean Catholic people are corrupt, just their leaders.

I am sure that there are also many Protestant leaders who are corrupt as well.

Corruption seeps into all organizations eventually.

Not so.

Catholics can understand scripture just as well as Protestants, just as well as any person.

Scripture is how God tells us about Himself and His plan for salvation.

It's when we trust others to interpret the scripture for us that we have to be careful.

Ok

I am going to try to answer your question.

A lot of other people are chiming in, so look at the id to see who's talking to you.

Regarding different protestant denominations.

Based on different interpretations of the Bible, people who believe the same interpretations gather together, but the basic belief is the same and that is that we are sinners who need salvation and God has provided that salvation thru the perfect sacrafice of Jesus who died for our sins

Not sure what you're getting at.

We can't all dedicate our lives to being Bible scholars.

At some point we have to combine what we think we know with what we believe.

I think some people call that a leap of faith.

Yes, God is perfectly just.

Isn't justice what we are looking for here?

God is also perfectly merciful.

If we fully understood this, then we would be God.

We are not God, therefore we cannot fully understand God.

That's where faith comes in.
