Dennis Shields, a resident who said he lived on the 42nd floor, described the scene.
“You could smell the smoke and you could hear things falling like through the vents,” he said. “It just smelled like sulfur.”
He said there were no orders to evacuate but he received a text message from Mr. Trump’s lawyer, Michael D. Cohen.
Mr. Shields, who said he grew up with Mr. Cohen, continued: “He said, ‘Are you in the building?’ I said, ‘Yes.’ He said, ‘You better get
out ASAP.’ That’s how I knew to get out, otherwise I’d still be in there.”

Shields was able to share some crucial information with EMTs who were trying to save his life earlier this month. When asked what prescription drugs he ingested, Shields named oxycodone, Vicodin, and a sleeping pill.
According to doctors, the drug combination can result in death, due to synergistic effects.
Before EMTs and police arrived on the scene, his assistant had reportedly administered two doses of Narcan. Law enforcement sources pointed out Shields was given another dose of Narcan, but it was too late.
Shields died suddenly August 10 at his Trump Tower apartment at the age of 51.
I thought the ping pong table kid looked like she had downs. Not the same kid. Am I wrong?
