Video of Comet Ping Pong Shooter Arrest

 

The police bodycam footage was acquired through FOIA.

 

What's really interesting is they uncuff the shooter and are having a conversation with him at the end.

 

Why would they uncuff him after he had just fired a weapon in a business and had a shotgun and ballistics shield in his car? Did he work for an agency?

 

"Later in the video, which is made up of multiple clips, police are seen questioning Welch who appears to be free of the handcuffs. It is unclear why police removed Welch's handcuffs at the crime scene.

 

MPD did not answer FOX 5's questions about whether or not that is consistent with protocol."
