A necromancer is one who speaks with the dead.

“Do not turn to mediums or necromancers; do not seek them out, and so make yourselves unclean by them: I am the Lord your God. " Leviticus 19:31

So when you pray to Mary, you have become a necromancer. If it is unlawful to seek them out, how much more unlawful is it to be one?
