i put 3 kids thru college as a single parent without debt for them or me….how? city colleges, community colleges. they stayed home. they commuted and they got the same education as everyone else.

thru the years i have noticed that hs kids tend to think of college as one big party and they borrow with abandon. there are parents who go into debt for this. there are parents who lose there retirements and their homes trying to pay these debts their idiot/selfish kids. i know some.

if trump writes off these student loans for these people that will be the red line for me. that's when he loses my vote and support.

btw, i had student loans personally. it took me 18 yrs but i paid every cent of it back.
