Waist girded with Truth = Can now fight, because you can tuck your robe into your girdle for mobility, and the belt holds your Sword.
Helmet = Salvation. If you are not saved, your head is enemy territory.
Breastplate = The Righteousness of Christ Jesus. If you do not have Jesus protecting your heart, you belong to the enemy and need to switch sides ASAP.
Feet shod with Peace = Think cleats; you need the traction to hold firm when the enemy presses you.
Shield of Faith = Takes the fiery darts of the wicked one, i.e. the thoughts the devil shoots into your head.
Sword = Word of God, your only Weapon against this spiritual enemy.
