In response to PAF strikes this morning as released by MoFA, IAF crossed LOC. PAF shot down two Indian aircrafts inside Pakistani airspace. One of the aircraft fell inside AJ&K while other fell inside IOK. One Indian pilot arrested by troops on ground while two in the area.

Last name matches. but is there any sauce on Omar Awan in the crash being THAT Awan? DWS's IT guy I've seen as Imran Awan, and his brother Abid Awan.
I'm concerned this may be a mistaken identity report due to the last name being the same, people going "Awan that's the DWS guy!" or a slide. But if there's sauce on this I've missed …
Even the twitter screenshot that got attention in this bread, claiming Omar = DWS IT guy, seems to retract itself.
Just below the big-print twitter headline, in the screenshot, is a follow-up "Update" in snaller print that retracts that claim, instead saying Imran and Omar are related.
It cites a newspaper article saying (I think) that a relative of Imran is named Omar and worked for an Ohio politician. And there is nothing to say this Omar is that Omar.
With the twitter screenshot itself retracting the claim, this looks like nothing.
