Adam Schiff should worry about his own collusion
President Trump’s chief antagonist California Democrat Rep. Adam Schiff is so desperate to find any shred of evidence to validate Democrats “red scare” conspiracy theories that his 2016 campaign colluded with Russia during the last presidential election that he is now threatening legal action against special counsel Bob Mueller.
It’s a move he could later regret.
While discussing the possibility that Mueller’s highly anticipated, soon to be released report could be kept under wraps, the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee fired a warning shot: “Well, we will obviously subpoena the report, we will bring Bob Mueller in to testify before Congress, we will take it to court if necessary.” Schiff’s comments came during a television interview Sunday. “And in the end, I think the department understands they’re going to have to make this public. I think [AG William] Barr will ultimately understand that as well.”
Indeed. Americans are all for transparency especially since it’s likely the special counsel will confirm what Peter Strzok told his lover, Lisa Page, via text message long ago — “there’s no there there.”
At that point, Schiff — who’s been relentlessly trafficking the Russian hoax alongside complicit media the past few years in an effort to remove our duly elected president — will prove to be a national laughingstock, seen as a partisan purveyor of fake news who abused his congressional power and influence to target political opponents.
Add to it that at any moment Attorney General Bill Barr could launch a much needed DOJ investigation into the real Russian collusion that took place between Hillary Clinton, her 2016 presidential campaign and the Democratic National Committee that paid millions to Fusion GPS who conspired with nefarious Russian informants and other foreign and domestic operatives to orchestrate a destructive disinformation campaign against a sitting U.S. president.
The work of the Democrats seems like it was pulled from the pages of a coup d’etat playbook in corrupt third-world countries.
What the Department of Justice may discover is that many high ranking Democrats, including Schiff, who curiously met with Fusion GPS founder Glenn Simpson in Aspen, Colo., in July, and also tried to block the release of Fusion’s financial records to Congress, are co-conspirators themselves alongside high-ranking FBI agents and other deep state actors who manufactured the whole Russian hoax to get Trump.
Bottom line: If Barr does his job, he’ll redirect the Russian “collusion” investigation to where it really belongs — onto Hillary Clinton and Democrats lap.
