NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) - Nashville Fire Dept. is currently responding to a train derailment in Berry Hill.
Officials say fice cars overturned off the track and organic material is leaking out of them.
The public is not in any immediate danger. Nashville Public Works is also assisting with cleanup and containment of the leaking material.
The tracks were significantly damaged in the crash.
Officials have closed Berry Road near Franklin Pike. They may also close Craighead Street at Bransford Avenue during clean up. This may have a significant impact on traffic in the area during this evening's commute.
