Rolling Stone Magazine has unveiled this month's cover stars who are shaking up Capitol Hill starring Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and Congress freshmen Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar and Jahana Hayes.

The women flash smiles on the magazine's Women Shaping the Future issue that will hit stands in March.

In the features they are asked their opinions on President Donald Trump, the possibility of impeachment and how they are changing the way Congress works.

While the cover may strike as harmonious, there have been bumps between the women and in their interviews they clash over the controversial Green New Deal congressional resolution.

On February 7 when Ocasio-Cortez, Rep. for New York's 14th congressional district, revealed her Green New Deal Congressional resolution with Sen. Ed Markey, Pelosi swatted the plan away and dismissed it as a 'suggestion' rather than a bill.

It will be one of several or maybe many suggestions that we receive. The green dream or whatever they call it, nobody knows what it is, but they’re for it right?' Pelosi said at the time.

In the story Pelosi, who Rolling Stone hails is at the 'height of her power', continues to question the Green New Deal saying it goes 'beyond what our charge is'.

'Now, in terms of the Green New Deal, that goes beyond what our charge is. Our charge is about saving the planet. They have in there things like single-payer and . . . what is it? Guaranteed income?' she says criticizing the plan.

On the cover, in contrast, Ocasio-Cortez has affectionate arm placed on Pelosi's arm.
