Think I found the beach from pic posted last bread. Believe it is, or is close to, Nha Trang City Beach. Check the mountains in the background and compare to pic posted last bread. See #3 on this link:

My point was to show there are buildings (hotels?) nearby where the pic could have been taken from as well. But from the original it appears it was much further down the beach. Just trying to narrow it down.
