My father was a Marine, served from the end of WW2 to Vietnam.
He was creased across the back of his neck by machinegun fire at Inchon, and is one of the Chosin Few.
Were he alive today, I know he would be truly gratified to see peace throughout Korea. He was truly that kind of man. Not bitter at all, just someone who truly reveres the freedom that he believed he was fighting to preserve.
