Q's post of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange was definitely taken from the Futian Shangri-La Hotel Shenzhen.
The photo of Bangkok's Mahanakhon building seems to have been shot from an upper floor of the Peninsula Hotel.
It's interesting to reverse engineer where these photos were taken, which begs the questions of why, and by whom.
