L-5 S-1 fusion anon here as well. Did you get any relief from fusion?
I sleep now and back at work but scar tissue wrapped the sciatic…bit of a circle. Pee test every time I get a pain med refill, but down to as needed rather than constant use. No sleep forced the surgery.
