I have been saying it for some time. If you don't treat anime as "cartoons" (it is not that simple), then it's pretty easy to see that there is certainly a media war unfolding between Hollywood and Anime. Neon Genesis: Evangelion is what I have pegged as the declaration of that war.
Prior to NGE, Anime was largely cartoons. There were animated movies or series shorts which occasionally got serious (such as Cowboy Bebop), but many of them were basically clones of childrens programming in the west. Then NGE came along, and the landscape of anime was changed forever.
Psycho-Pass
Kill la Kill
Those two are both very pointed, and recent, assaults on "the cabal" of western media.
Puella Magi: Madoka Magica is deeper and more comprehensive than The Matrix.
But I don't think the order opposed to the western cabal is necessarily Asian. There are many old orders of nobility in the world, and it is my 'reading of the echoes' that has led me to believe that many of these family lines - clans - have banded together to form a resistance network to the power associated with the British Royal Family and the Committee of 300.
I do not think this group is national so much as international, and effectively operate outside of national jurisdiction, much like the western cabal operates outside of its governments just by waking up and having breakfast.
This group is here at times, as well. Do not blame them for being black-pilled and deceived by their own intelligence networks. When one wields large amounts of power, one tends to make safe decisions and to be used to knowing enough to make their misunderstanding of a situation reality, without fully intending to. When confronted with the too-good-to-be-true scenario, they are going to be extremely suspicious and they are going to be used to the results of projection becoming reality as most organizations are water before the orbit of the moon next to them.
Now that Mueller's report is seeming to flop and the peace with North Korea and other areas of the world are looking to be more than just fluke, though, they have started to calm down a bit and entertain the idea that their initial assumption about Q being a larp was wrong.
Or I am fucking insane. I will say, however, that I ran into these people quite some time ago. The internet is an interesting place when you know where to look.
