Jared Kushner hopes to 'eliminate borders' in the Middle East

President Trump once praised Israel's border wall system as an example for the United States' own security, but his son-in-law and senior adviser, Jared Kushner, said that his Middle East peace plan would ultimately eliminate dividing lines in the entire Middle East region.

Kushner is currently on a five-nation tour of the Middle East — though he won't be making an appearance in Israel or Palestine, the focal point of the plan — in order to secure regional support for the Trump administration's plan.

In an interview with Sky News, Kushner said that the goal of the political component of the plan, which is still under wraps, is "really about establishing borders," before quickly qualifying that statement with "the goal of resolving these borders is really to eliminate them" because a border-free region would allow for the free flow of goods and lead to more "opportunity." Kushner said the economic effect would be felt throughout the Middle East, including Jordan, Lebanon, and Egypt.

The event offered a dress rehearsal for nascent technologies in a three-year-old DARPA research effort dubbed RADICS, short for "Rapid Attack Detection, Isolation and Characterization Systems."

The RADICS program, which kicked off in 2015 with a $77 million federal funding announcement, is aimed at ensuring U.S. utilities can bounce back from a blackout brought on by a cyberattack. Grantees had to assume the worst: that utilities' operational networks, including sensitive field equipment, have been compromised by hackers.

Dozens of representatives from major utilities and industry groups, including the New York Power Authority, Duke Energy Corp. and the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association, trekked out to Plum Island to take part in Liberty Eclipse.

The baseline scenario was built around mind-bending bad news: swaths of the U.S. grid had already been offline for a month, exhausting battery backups at power plants and substations alike.”

When I consider how many issues we feel similarly to, with moderate Dems - like vaccines, chemtrails, reasonable environmental stewardship - I feel hopeful that they will develop a party that reflects the best, most rational approaches. That's a long shot, though.

Most Dems, even moderate normie Dems, have all been so indoctrinated by the media and worthless education system, I can't see them pulling this off.

We will have to lead. But humbly and supportively. The shock is going to be great for them.

They honestly have nowhere to turn. They built their houses on sand for over a century. This storm could wipe them out.

All the more reason to insure our foundations are solid.
