Anon posted this in last bread and is definitely a strong possible interpretation.
This is an old doco on witches narrated by Spock.
I din't expect too much from it, but there were a few unexpected nuggets in there as well as a couple of keks - A high Priestess saying that all the bad stories about witches are not true; Yes, of course her statements are without bias.
Furthermore, Nimoy states that Salem, Massachusetts is named after Jerusalem, which, I have since discovered, is not entirely accurate as Salem is named after the city that would eventually become Jerusalem.
Surely everyone convicted of crimes is told to go out and enjoy their freedom and report back in a few months to serve their time, right?
My thoughts then, as now, led me to conclude that he is filthy as fuck and Trump knew it and had the goods on him so set him up to be a foil in return for a reduction in sentence.
Whilst openly siding with the Democrats and bad mouthing Trump, he is doing exactly as instructed by the White Hats.
