Great DIGGS anon

TRUE STORY: I smoked a joint once some 18 years ago with Rick Dublin (head of MAPS) at his psychedelic mushroom home down in Sarasota, Fl. A psychiatrist friend of mine was trying to get research funding for psychedelic therapy and I tagged along for the meeting. Dublin was a really nice guy who I used to respect a lot, but now I think he is deeply compromised.

I sense that MAPS basically serves as a branch (unwilling perhaps) of the C_A that serves many functions including keeping tabs on bright scientists in the neuroscience field who usually develop an interest in psychedelics.

Other MAP functions likely include legitimizing the FDA's schedule I scheduling of psychedelic drugs, but also more subtle social engineering. For example, legitimizing PTSD as a "mental disorder" when in fact it is a normal human response to a traumatic event.

Interesting side note, when I met Dublin he was excited about this new drug called U4EA (4-Methylaminorex), which was being used by Harvard grads, not so much as a party drug, but to write their dissertations and law reviews! In fact, he said that he used it himself to write his own Ph.D. dissertation on FDA's schedule I scheduling of psychedelic drugs while at Harvard Kennedy School of Executive Education. Ironic, don't cha think!?

Based on his description of this drug's remarkable effects on cognitive writing ability, there is no question in my mind that the movie "Limitless" was based loosely on the screenplay writer's experience with U4EA.
