It is as entertaining as it is insightful. You will find that once you are done, you'll understand yourself, business, and life a lot more clearly. It has certainly helped me to understand my life and why i haven't succeeded the way i have wanted to.
My current situation has the odds stacked against me; i have several genetic conditions that make any physical activity very painful, i live in a small, low income home with 3 other adults and a small child (the child being from my horrid, drug addicted sister who is thankfully out of the picture). I have a hole in my skull, and part of my brain has been removed. And on top of all of this, i was diagnosed with a mild case of asperger's at a young age, although in truth is is more of a blessing than a curse as i've always been an information sponge, and a frightengly accurate analyst.
Even though i am not doing what i love, not really doing much of anything at all, i am happy looking oback at the struggles i have faced, knowing that they have armed me with the mental tools to overcome just about any pressure that is thrown at me by others. Now, i'm simply waiting for the weather to break, as the cold weather makes my physical pain even worse than normal (i live in Michigan)
I know that the boost of energy i get from the spring weather will be just the sort of thing i need to ride in the next few months, in order to begin my path to success. That is why my position doesn't bother me at all; because i know that soon my options will open up dramatically, and i can make substantive progress on the betterment of myself
My father had taught me many of the things that Donald Trump says in his book, yet he arrived to these conclusions through his own experiences rather than listening to somebody else. He was a low-paid machinist that was probably the only reason the company he worked for is still in business. But he allowed himself to stay where he was, because life had found ways to beat any sort of drive or ambition out of this man before he had the foresight to act upon it. I hope to learn from his mistakes, as well as the mistakes of others
I want to be in the videogame industry. Its what i know best. There are not many things that i feel extremely confident in, but one thing that i am sure of is that i know this industry and how it operates better than anybody
I am disgusted with the state of the industry as it is today. That comes from the sick, shoddy business practices that big companies like Activision, EA, and Ubisoft practice on their customers to suck their souls and their money away from them, without giving anything valuable in return
If it is one thing i want to do in this life, it is to create games of such high quality, that it completely shatters the public's perception of what games can be, of how good they can be even on a tight budget
