Democracy doesn’t lead to freedom but to the loss of freedom and corruption. Just look at the election of Donald Trump for proof positive. The democratic system is a con and easily manipulated by the rich elite that and their dark money. They want to own you and thus democracy will lead to the ultimate loss of freedom. It's crucial to realize the power the oligarchy has over the government. The people are easily duped and those with the most money, the rich elite, can easily control the outcome of elections even within a representative democracy. Which is perfect for them but disastrous for you. Let’s get one thing straight. You don’t live in a democracy. You live in an oligarchy masquerading as a democracy. If the people knew it was an oligarchy, there would be revolution tomorrow. As long as the oligarchy hides behind the curtain of a democracy, the people will remain enslaved and wave their flags of false freedom even with the chains around their necks. What we need is an entirely new system. One that doesn’t look to the old, decaying past. But to a new blossoming future. We need to jettison the regressive past and embrace a progressive future.
