What did John Dewey do? I have studied Horace Mann and Johann Fichte, but not much about Dewey.
I hear she is a big proponent of vouchers. Maybe that would be a good start as long as there are no strings attached. I would absolutely want home-schoolers to qualify for them. Home schooling does not require educated parents, if you think about it. The parents can hire tutors who are experts in their field of study; that only requires good common sense. Hopefully there are more parents who have common sense than those who are well-educated.
