‘Gun Control Generals’ Called Out By Fellow Veteran

I’m a peacetime veteran. While there were a few scrapes taking place during my time in uniform, I wasn’t anywhere near them. I was willing, but they were brief, and the Navy wasn’t interested in my willingness to be at any given place anyway.

As such, I always feel a little odd using my “veteran” status, like it’s something I only barely deserve at best.

But it does piss me off when other veterans, particularly generals, throw their weight behind gun control measures. It tells me they forgot the oath they swore upon putting on that uniform for the first time when they vowed to “support and defend the Constitution of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic and to bear true faith and allegiance to the same.”

I know I’m not the only veteran who gets pissed off at that, either — especially when its generals and other top-level officials who decide to side with the anti-gunners.

The National Shooting Sports Foundation’s Mark Oliva spent 25 years in the Marines, and he’s not happy either.

Those "related matters" now include Paul Manafort selling expensive rugs, a hooker named Stormy Daniels, and Michael Cohen's cheating on taxes.

Mueller still has nothing and Democrat lawyer Renato Mariotti blames President Trump for making the public think that an investigation triggered by media tales of Russian collusion is supposed to find Russian collusion

Parallel Construction Revealed: How The DEA Is Trained To Launder Classified Surveillance Info

Last summer, Reuters revealed how the NSA and other surveillance organizations would share info with the DEA and other law enforcement agencies, but then tell them to reconstruct the evidence via a process called "parallel construction," so that the surveillance would not then be discussed in court. This is highly questionable, and probably illegal, as a defendant has the right to know all of the evidence being used against him or her, and should also be told how that evidence was gathered, to make sure the collection was legal. But what's being done with parallel construction, is that the intelligence community is able to give "hints" to law enforcement, allowing them to come up with various pretenses for an investigation, avoiding ever having to reveal that the NSA or others used potentially illegal surveillance efforts. One example given in that Reuters report was how DEA agents would suddenly be given a tip like this: "Be at a certain truck stop at a certain time and look for a certain vehicle." The DEA would then have the local police come up with some pretense to stop the truck… and then when evidence is found they can claim it was a random traffic stop, when the reality is anything but that.

That’s a staggering amount of public funds to be squandered in this way. A full audit needs to be carried out and further funds stopped.

This should be a front page story but don’t expect this to be reported by the MSM as she is the wife of the Democrat mayor! If she had been related to Trump on the other hand…

In an interview with Politico Magazine last year, Mr. Penn said that as a White House adviser during Ken Starr’s investigation into Mr. Clinton, he saw up close the emotional damage that a special counsel can wreak on a president and on a functional White House. And he said he saw little difference in how the investigation affected Mr. Clinton then and Mr. Trump now — even though Mr. Clinton never tweeted the words “Witch Hunt!”

“The Clintons didn’t put their emotions on Twitter, but trust me, they had them, and they weren’t particularly different from Trump’s,” he said….

Tear gas v flowers: Yellow Vests march through Paris for 16th week in a row

Yellow Vest protesters have taken to the streets of Paris for the 16th consecutive week. While some enjoyed a friendly chat with police officers, others faced tear gas after trying to break off from a pre-approved marching route.

Unlike previous demonstrations, Paris officials authorized a designated route for Saturday’s “Act 16” anti-government marchers – a span of road beginning at the Arc de Triomphe and ending at Place Denfert-Rochereau in the south of the city.

2020 Hopeful Jay Inslee Goes National With A Climate Agenda He Failed To Implement In His Own State

Democratic Washington Governor Jay Inslee has entered the 2020 presidential race as the candidate who has what it takes to unite Americans around one goal: fighting climate change.

But while Inslee pushes for a Green New Deal-like economic plan, the Democratic governor has failed to implement major climate policies in his own state.

“His climate policy has failed with the legislature, failed with the courts and failed with the voters,” said Todd Myers, environmental policy director at the free-market Washington Policy Center.
