This is a very misunderstood interaction….
What she did did not qualify for stoning. And Jesus knew this. So instead of calling them frauds he used some persuasion.
And why did he allow her to leave? NOT because he was giving her grace. He needed 2 witnesses to convict her and there were no witnesses.
Again, the Mosaic Law did not commend her stoning.
