I am so sorry to hear of your loved one's pain and will pray that he has a peaceful passing. We are all impoverished when great men who are the backbone of this Nation pass to stand watch at Heaven's gate.
True story, when we were newly married spouse anon got orders to Quantico for a conference and we had reservations at the BOQ (Liversedge Hall). Our flight was delayed so by the time we arrived at the BOQ, it was very late. When we went to check in we were told our room had been given away. When spouse asked why, they said they gave our room to a Frozen Choisin Marine who was there for their reunion at the same time. Spouse anon didn't protest, hustled me out of there telling the clerk we would happily sleep in the car. I was like … whaaat? Spouse anon told me story of Frozen Choisin, so I learned some Marine history that night.
