House Intel Witness Felix Sater Was Part Of Loretta Lynch’s Secret Docket

WASHINGTON—House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff intends to rely on testimony from former felon and Russian mobster Felix Sater during the committee’s investigation into President Trump’s finances and connection to Russia.

Sater’s name was brought into the 2015 confirmation hearing of former Attorney General Loretta Lynch when issues related to her previous office allegedly maintaining a secret docket of criminal informants arose, National Review reported at the time

During her confirmation hearing, then Utah Republican Sen. Orrin Hatch asked her about why she allowed for self-admitted criminals, like Sater, to be released as a trade-off to become government informants.

He also asked why she allowed for these convicted felons to continue to commit crimes against innocent people.

Ultimately, Sater’s only punishment for pilfering $40 million was a $25,000 fine. According to National Review, the attorney who aided Sater in getting a lighter sentence was Leslie Caldwell, Lynch’s former colleague in the U.S. Attorney’s Office. Caldwell later went on to head up the Justice Department’s criminal division.

US Marine veteran built cocaine pipeline as Mexican drug kingpin, prosecutors say

A U.S. Marine veteran who rose to power as a reputed Mexican drug kingpin has been named in a massive cocaine-trafficking indictment in San Diego.

The investigation into Angel Dominguez Ramirez Jr.’s organization revealed “an unprecedented level of corruption within the Mexican government, local police departments, federal police agencies and military,” the U.S. attorney’s office said in a recent court filing.

More than 41 people have been charged in the case, which has yielded 5,000 kilograms, or about 11,000 pounds, of seized cocaine and more than $9 million in drug proceeds.

Dominguez’s organization sourced cocaine from Peru, Venezuela, Ecuador, up through Central America and into Chiapas, Mexico, according to prosecutors. Transportation cells would move the cocaine into Mexico using boats, aircraft and commercial vehicles, then over the California and Texas borders for distribution into the United States, the court filing says.

The organization also used a reverse pipeline to move drug proceeds from the U.S. back south, according to the indictment, which was partially unsealed this week.

Amazon Joins Big Tech Assault on Anti-Vaccine Information

As major media and big tech continue freaking out over 159 measles cases in the U.S., anti-vaccine campaigners are increasingly being likened to terrorists as their ability to share information and earn money is being cut off.

The origin of this latest move against the free flow of information seems to have stemmed from a letter sent by Adam Schiff (D-CA) to the heads of Facebook and Google wherein he lamented the increased viewership of the vaccine debate:

“There is strong evidence to suggest that at least part of the source of this trend is the degree to which medically inaccurate information about vaccines surface on the websites where many Americans get their information,” Schiff wrote in the letter. “The algorithms which power these services are not designed to distinguish quality information from misinformation or misleading information, and the consequences of that are particularly troubling for public health issues.” (Source: Bloomberg)

Facebook was the first to agree with Schiff’s call to action and vowed that they were “exploring additional measures” to fight the appearance of anti-vaccine messaging to the reading public.

But it was YouTube (Google) that appears to have taken the swiftest measures against anti-vaccine proponents by announcing that their two-pronged approach would include demonitizing videos with “dangerous and harmful” content, plus adding a stern warning from the World Health Organization that being anti-vaccine is “one of the top ten global health threats of 2019.”

In the true spirit of competition for which big tech company can foster the most censorship and destroy the key values of democracy, Amazon has followed suit by burning the digital books (videos) of those who have made it their life’s work to educate the public and spur debate. And, again, it seems that the public comments made by a single rep – Adam Schiff – have been enough to alter company policy which affects millions of people.
