In the past when Q has been on nightshift and barraged it usually persisted for a long while. Especially when it had to do with a type of "prepare" barrage.
This actually brings up a question I simply have to ask and I will pose it in a way that doesn't require a long response:

I only ask because I discovered some old documents that really makes it appear that in the mid to late 90s he stumbled onto something very specific which I will not go over, they tried to harm him and he made up his mind at that point.
