False memory syndrome field is fraught with peril on both sides of the question (whether it is "real" and if so how to deal with it). One big problem is the field of psychology itself, which is built on an empiricist model of the human psyche. Starts out on a shaky foundation and proceeds to build a Tower of Babel.

Very good point about the idea that never notabling moar than once assumes a model where anons are either on the board all day or spending quite a lot of time reviewing past notables whenever they return. I have enough time to be on the board all day (or night) and STILL can't stay current. in every area. The mind just can't remember that much info. Good when something is important to notable more than once. Which often happens. Not a bad thing.
