NOTABLE

>Could the False Memory Syndrome Foundation be a front in order to deny the existence of mind control and protect the abusers?

Anon,

Without giving TMI, suffice it to say I have researched MPD/DID and treatment for 25 years. This is PRECISELY the conclusion I came to years ago. Not only that, but in seeking treatment for a dear one, we found that there is a chasm in therapists who "believe" and those who do not. If one is lucky enough to find an actual therapist who not only believes, but is versed in the treatment, one then must navigate through immense and mostly insurmountable hurdles to pay for such treatment. It's a travesty. I could go on and on, but I will spare us both. Tag me back if you would like links on moar on the topic. And good on you for the research.

At my wit's end.

A very fragmented case. Went through individualized intensive trauma treatment for which we paid out of pocket for 2 weeks. Was actually excellent care.

Follow up treatment, unfortunately, was not.

Then back to the "insurance" hurdles, scoff/kek.

Have actually considered learning hypnosis myself but may be too close to client. Then again, could be a plus.

Learned a lot from this guy, among others:

TYVM, Anon. While I am beyond appalled at all the recent revelations of pedophiles in our culture and while I feel terribly for the children, I cannot help but to also feel a great deal of indignation for the adults. Yes, Please pray.
