i have wondered if it was by someone–many possibilities there
but i think it would be to dangerous to drop clues, mainly because if they said anything-

instead of getting their "correct" answer
they get "its am"

it would be worse than herding cats

in theory "our" side has nothing bad to dig up accidently
but if an opponent was dropping this many clues on a hostile board for this long i do not see how that would work out well or them.
they might try to once in a while -or often, but not the whole thing
