naltrexone also works for sugar addiction.

I had a horrible sugar addiction, would binge eat late at night, the weight kept creeping up. I started drinking to help me sleep at night after spouseAnon got blown up by an IED in Iraq. Never had a problem with sugar or ETOH (just another form of sugar toxic to your body, your liver esp) before that, never had a problem with weight, etc.

Went keto + naltrexone + metformin off label and a year later am back to my normal weight, feel better, sleeping better, don't crave sugar or ETOH anymore, and when I do "indulge", find most desserts, ice creams etc far too sweet now.

Naltrexone is cheap, too

Take it one hour at a time.

Have lots of healthy things to snack on and/or drink when you crave something.

I love all citrus fruits, so I slice up 1/2 lemon, lime, blood orange whatever and make diffused water to sip. I sip it slowly in a wine glass over shaved ice, kek, to mimic drinking.

Roasted veggies and large premade salads with homemade dressings are good to for cravings.

Good luck to you Anon. Alcohol doesn't work.

Also, try yoga and meditation.

Realize that you have much more in your life than your work, and where you work does not define you. I hated my last job, my boss was a super time watcher and loved domineering and abusing his cubicle slaves. I coped by doing a skills analysis and thinking of different ways I could use my meta skills to make a living for myself after spouseAnon retired, and started taking classes and unpaid weekend work in the field to build my skillset. SpouseAnon retired, and we both are doing work we love, and are making more than we did working at regular gigs, but it takes planning and determination that you can change your life for the better.

Love not being someone's cubicle/time clock bitch anymore.

Good luck to you Anon, so many of us have been there.
