Why are Congress members Karen Bass and Joe Neguse, Ilhan Omar going in Eritrea? This is something that I have long been aggravated about but have never brought up. Why the hell does the US taxpayer pay for and support these international trips by members of Congress? They have a job which is to their constituents and the taxpayers should not be supporting such "trips".
They are not diplomats involved in the executive international relation team, they have little to no foreign experience, the opportunity for corruption is massive during these trips and in going to them they are focusing on issues that are not in relation to their constituents. So why is this allowed? Why does this happen? Why does nobody ever bring this up?
Congress is utterly worthless in my mind. They investigate make believe political smear BS, they take trips to foreign countries that we pay for, and they do nothing of value any longer in terms of helping their area or constituents. It's all an advancement game and all a make money scheme. This shit needs to fucking stop. Their dumbasses should not be in fucking Eritrea Africa.
