Syria takes part in Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union conference after 8 years
Syria has taken part in a meeting of Arab states for the first time since the foreign-backed militancy broke out in the country eight years ago, in what has been seen as another sign that the Damascus government led by President Bashar al-Assad is being welcomed back into the fold.
“Those who are trying to ignore Syria or to impose conditions for its return to the Arab League will not succeed, since Syria will not surrender to blackmail and is not primarily concerned with anything other than its domestic problems,” Mekdad said.

Syria will not stand still for terrorists’ continuous crimes, says FM source
The terrorist groups launched at dawn on Sunday a new terrorist attack planned in advance on the Syrian armed forces deployed on the axis of al-Masasneh in the northern countryside of Hama, a source at the Foreign and Expatriates Ministry announced.
The attacking terrorist groups launched their assault from their positions in the areas covered by the de-escalation zone agreement, and used various types of weapons, exploiting the bad weather conditions, the source said. Syria “will not stand idly by while such crimes continue to take place, as it will not allow the terrorists and those behind them to persist in their attacks against innocent citizens and the forces of the Syrian Arab Army,”

Israel Shells Syrian Army Positions In Al-Quneitra
In the late hours of March 3, the Israeli military fired two shells at positions of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) in the areas of al-Wasit and Qurs al-Naql, west of the town of Hadar in the southern governorate of al-Quneitra.

Weapons left behind terrorists discovered in countryside of Homs
SANA reporter in Homs said that the authorities found boxes of diverse kinds of ammunition, communication tools, mortar launchers and B21 rounds in a terrorists’ hideout in the village of al-Majdal in Talbisa town.
