Trips of truth, kek. But I am really thinking we need to dig and find an anon who has a voice analysis machine. I remember there was an anon who did a voice analysis of John Podesta versus the "I am your fatha!" video clip. Just can't remember where I heard/saw that. Voat? or YT?

Q, can you confirm or negate: was that a body double of Hillary doing the Selma speech? Appears too young but more importantly, voice does not sound like her, but rather a well-rehearsed actress who has studied Hillary's inflections.

>I don't think they started the Oxford Group.

It's been a long time ago that I read "Dr Bob & the Good Old Timers," so my memory is fuzzy, too. But I seem to recall that Bill Wilson's friend (Ebby?) who had found "religion" and come to see him after Bill's awakening in the hospital was a member of the Oxford Group and they had 6 steps, or principles, that they followed, including something akin to the 4th, 5th, and 6th steps. As I recall, Bill and Lois attended some Oxford Group meetings with Ebby (If that's his name). Then when Bill was in Ohio and the obsession returned it dawned on him that he needed to talk to another alcoholic to save himself. And an operator, I think, in his hotel, referred him to Dr. Bob.

>I also don't think that Dr. Bob was a member of that group.

Right.

>Memory is fuzzy.

Kek, mine, too.

>Used to be the Group Coordinator for SEM. (800+ groups / 1,200 meetings per week / 20,000 alkies. In the course of 2 terms in office, I got to every meeting at least once while founding another and sponsoring 2 pigeons. No one had ever compiled a list of all the groups and we had no idea that there were so many! The local directory only listed about 50.)

Good on you, Anon. Indeed, it's the gift you have to keep giving away to keep. Thank you.

>In addition to the 12 Steps and 12 Traditions there is a third book … 12 Principles … that almost no one knows exists. Once dry and on solid ground, the 12 Principles makes for fascinating reading.

Never heard of it and I'm intrigued. You wouldn't perchance be near a meeting in NE PA, would you? Would love to meet up. Just sayin'…How It Works.

Awesome, Anon. Actually quite amazing how quickly you have refined your skills. The style here reminds me a bit of Truth Factory– a mix of comedy and serious, serious, stuff. I still think you need 2-3 more seconds on pic-related b/c I had to pause to read the full headline. This time was better, but I only got to the word, "editorial" before screen switched back. I don't mean to be a PITA, but I think it is important to allow that headline to sink in the brain. Still, A+.
