>Take their property by force

>Rich start closing businesses and leaving the country

>Nationalize everything

>Corruption and mismanagement impoverishes people

>Use propaganda to brainwash the people into loving the regime

>People protest due to food shortages

>Crush them with your army

>Discredits your ideology

>No worries b/c it stopped being Socialism when everything went wrong
