A 77-year-old grandma had to be rescued in Iceland when she climbed onto a throne-like iceberg that was suddenly carried away by a wave.
Judith Streng, from Texas, was on holiday with her son when she saw the ice chunk shaped like a throne on Diamond Beach, Jokulsarlon, Iceland .
Attracted to the idea of being a royal even for just a split second, the grandma climbed onto it and was snapped striking some poses.
But her icy throne was then swept away from the shore by a big wave, causing the elderly woman to drift out at sea.
“When I got on it, it started to totter and a wave was coming in,” Ms Streng told ABC News.
