I have a transgender family member who lives in another state.
At the age of 17 they came out( was a boy who felt like he was a woman inside)
Their family is conservative christians, and they loved and supported him/her.For several years this family member dressed as a girl( but never did any hormones or anything like that( Thank God)
They never wanted to further it physically, and was not sure.
They tried dating both sexes because they were confused.
( dating nothing sexual)
Then they decided they really like girls the most.
Recently they just bought man clothes and cleared half of their closet for them.
And they want to use their birth name instead of girl name.
Everyone thought they looked so much better as a man, and they had alot of positive experiences when they dresssed as they really are.
( waitresses hitting on them)
They are more than likely to get their id changed back to say male.
They are still a little unsure, but have made lots of positive moves towards becoming a man again.
