Shotguns are good in close quarters combat for the normal user. They can also be used at medium to longer ranges with rifled barrels and sabot slugs accurately but range is still limited and the ammo weight and size is also limiting. Have you ever toted around 6 boxes of 12 guage double 00 buck shot? It's akward wo say the least. I think this Shill wants us not to rely on AR15s and AK platforms so we will be out gunned. If it conflict comes to the streets, I will have a precise long range platform for which ammo is light and plentiful. AR15 in 5.56mm for me along with 30 round mags. Be smart, be safe
