That is my thought anon, after reviewing a couple of the letters and requests, there is no mention of a subpoena, therefore what compels the recipients to comply? I'm not a lawfag, but is this not a violation of the recipients 4th amendment? Where has documented, not concocted, probable cause been shown?
4th Amendment
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
