Scanning the Luke Perry discussion since his recent death.

Too early to say one way or another what's really behind it.

Innocent circumstances or nefarious.

But is suspicious timing with new post-production project he was involved with and other celebrity deaths.

Will say this.

I'm the same age Lane Frost would've been had he not died when gored by that bull.

I was bull riding around Texas the same years Lane was. Not even close to his skill level. My best friend was a calf roper & another buddy a really good bull rider. We rode the rodeo circuit together.

I'm from the Texas / Oklahoma culture portrayed in the movie Luke Perry starred in as Lane Frost = "8 Seconds"

What always impressed me, is that for a guy who played a preppie dude in Beverly Hills tv show, imho, he nailed the essence of the culture and the people I grew up with.

To me, somehow, he nailed "Who we are."

Almost like he wasn't having to act.

Best part he ever played, I think.

Just an anon reminiscing.
