Q- when you refer to "optics" are you referring to court-related optics (i.e. lawsuits) or public opinion?
Because public opinion of POTUS from the LEFT is already dead, so there's no reason to wait for optics to be "clean" for POTUS. However, if it's related to potential charges/blockades that Dems will try to issue based upon certain optics (i.e. Comey firing) then it makes sense to get the optics correct.
