May be old news to some and new to others. The old question, “why does God allow bad things to happen”.
Free will.
Never given much thought beyond that for me. Self explanatory in a way I felt and that was that. But I got to thinking.
God makes everything.
God makes man for the world.
God gives man gifts.
Opposable thumbs, bi-pedal, ability to communicate, ability to love and have various emotions, thoughts and abilities. Free will.
With that also comes the ability to feel anger and greed, to lie and hurt. To cheat and steal. To use and be used.
People are, essentially blaming God for our decisions and our ability to make them. No one is stopping anyone from changing but ourselves. So interesting when you see it. Our own worst enemy and biggest obstacle.
