The Mason Family clan had a hideout in Simi Valley, CA on the southeast side of town. Back then their cave there was dynamited to block access from people looking to go in and see it. Black Canyon Road area. I lived there at one point and took hikes with a local who knew things like this and we skinnied down between rocks a ways at the cave, but did not gain access.

They had a cave that would now be a ways back from the houses on the east end of town, south of the 118 and west of Black road that goes over to the valley. It is pretty much boulders over it now.
