I think this is what Q is asking, but this particular monograph is poorly written. It is based on the work of Albert Upton. Here is a link to an article about Upton" http:// www.eggplant.org/tf/pdf/upton_article.pdf

I am looking for a PDF of Upton's book "Design for Thinking". I hope it gives some examples of Hyerle's ideas. Hyerle's diagrams are like trying to teach math by saying: You teach addition by + = Sum. With no numbers it tells nothing.

Here's a good link for Hyerle's ideas with a practical application. They are trying to sell a class on these. Instead, I may just write some examples. Search "thinking map" and see if you can find some good examples.

Good examples (without the actual content; actual content is what I am looking for): https:// www.thinkingmaps.com/why-thinking-maps-2/
