So we said this is unfair. Other types of revocations happened under Harper, happened under us, is when people mislead government, when they lie under citizenship application. So when they pretend that they have been living here for three four years, but the government discovers that they lied in the application, or they haven’t been living here, or the reason why they immigrated here was not true, those people, [we] say your citizenship was obtained under invalid reasons, therefore you [sic] take it away from you. That’s is not a political process. That is a official process which by the way we now created an appeal mechanism for it, where people can appeal.
Ovais Iqbal: Which was not the case before.
Omar Alghabra: Which was not the case before. So there are, you know, apples and oranges here.
Ovais Iqbal: Okay. If I understand this correctly this challenge for the dual citizens is no more. So nobody can take my citizenship away if I did not lie in my application I’m protected?
Omar Alghabra: Exactly. So if you are a Canadian citizen that has another citizenship you have the same rights and responsibilities that another Canadian who only has one Canadian citizenship. You said the operative word is that you did not lie in obtaining your citizenship, you have the same rights. So no minister can take away your citizenship whether you are accused of terrorism, pedophilia, violence. If you are found criminal or guilty of terrorism you are thrown in jail, but the issue of citizenship is a sacred one that should, whether you are a dual citizen or a single citizen, the same rights and responsibilities.
Ovais Iqbal: So Canadian is a Canadian is a Canadian.
Omar Alghabra: Exactly, and I’m proud to say that we have run under this in the last campaign. Many people from the Pakistani community were very reasonably and rightly so worried about the signal it sends to them that your citizenship is worth less than someone else’s citizenship. We fixed that.

CSIS: a few years back that had a 2 million lawsuit against them when a boss made a Muslim joke towards one of his employees. I think it was an intended attack as to get them to turn PC and change their tactics as to "not look racist". RCMP: I think they've been cucked for a while, they've been pushing hard to hire minorities since the early 2000's, so I'm going to assume they're more concerned with equal outcome than equal opportunity. Besides, if they were legit they would have arrested people in parliament who were foreign spies (it was reported in 2010 then later "retracted", they had 10 years to fuck our country). I personally don't trust them because of their history.
Military: the military we have now has had its teeth removed completely, they have no kit, they haven't been operating overseas for a while, their subs are catching fire, their navy is full of mould, their jets are 30 years old. Their special unit CSOR has been working in Ukraine for he last few years, it's only recently we learn that the clinton foundation has been HEAVILY involved with them, so now I'm starting to think its leadership is using comp'd Intel all about the Russian narrative. From Colombia to Lebanon to Toronto: How a DEA probe uncovered Hezbollah’s Canadian money laundering ops
Professional money laundering networks are growing in Canada, washing vast sums of cocaine and fentanyl cash, and helping to drive up prices in Vancouver and Toronto real estate. Canada’s federal government proposed a new federal anti-money laundering task force last week, specifically to tackle these concerns. But according to U.S. law enforcement sources, Canada has been aware of this for over a decade. This story explains untold international details behind recent RCMP investigations, missed early warnings, and lessons from Australian police, that could jump-start Canada’s late response to these growing risks, sources say.
In January 2008, a team of U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration agents travelled to Ottawa to meet with RCMP leaders. They had stunning news. The DEA said an elite group of Middle East narco-terrorists in Colombia was using Canada as a key money laundering hub.
According to a former senior U.S. official with knowledge of the meeting, the DEA had “dirty calls” — meaning calls providing criminal evidence of cocaine shipments and cash movements in Canada — from narco-kingpins in Colombia to a network of operatives in Halifax, Vancouver, Calgary, and London, Ont.
The evidence included allegations from an elite Colombian police unit and extensive DEA phone tap records.
But RCMP leaders didn’t want to pursue the cases, according to the former official. He said the RCMP cited differences between Canadian and U.S. court disclosure rules, and questions about the DEA’s use of confidential sources.

But by 2014, police officials in Canada and the U.S. finally agreed. The DEA agents tapping phones in the hills of Colombia had been right all along.
A resurgent offshoot of Pablo Escobar’s notorious Medellin Cartel, now called La Oficina, was doing business with terrorists.
La Oficina and numerous other cartels, according to DEA records, were using services from an elite business wing of Hezbollah — the Islamist party and terror organization based in Lebanon.

Trudeau announces $6.2-billion relocation of United Nations headquarters to Toronto
As a middle power, Canada no longer wants to sit on the sidelines, and Toronto’s place as the “centre of the universe” could have a whole new meaning.
In an unprecedented show of support for renewed internationalism and multilateralism — rejecting the rising global tide of unilateralism and protectionism — Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced this morning Canada has submitted a formal proposal to the United Nations (UN) to have its headquarters moved from New York City to a new secure, state-of-the-art campus dubbed the ‘Global Village’ on a Lake Ontario waterfront site on the Portlands, just east of downtown Toronto.
This will effectively turn Toronto into the world’s capital city.
The federal government will fund the construction of the $6.2-billion headquarters campus at no cost to the UN, as well as cover annual operations and maintenance costs of the complex.
“Canada has begun the process of signalling a new era for the United Nations by providing the organization with a new fully-funded central headquarters near downtown Toronto,” Trudeau said in a release.
“Our government is promising openness and new Canadian leadership on matters that relate to all Canadians and contributes to our country’s standing in the world. We believe in the collective goal of creating a world that is better and safer, and more sustainable, prosperous, and just. Canada’s resolve for supporting and enforcing the principles of the United Nations has never been greater.”
Additionally, if the UN moves to Toronto, the Canadian federal government will sign an agreement to provide the UN’s Regular Budget with a significant boost in annual funding that is 30 times larger than Canada’s most recent annual contribution of $76.23 million in 2019.
Trudeau will provide the UN with $2.8 billion annually, starting on the year the UN finalizes the agreement to move the 193-member intergovernmental organization’s headquarters to Canada’s largest city.
Normally, member states contribute an amount that is based on the country’s capability to pay, with a formula that takes into account gross national income, debt, and per capita income.
This plan proposed by Canada requires extensive consultation amongst the member nations, UN staff, and a vote in the General Assembly. A formal announcement on the details of the plan will be made at the existing UN headquarters in New York City later today.

It is not normal to see soldiers carrying their guns "at the ready" instead of shouldered in a parade situation when they have firearms, so this struck me as very odd. This is how troops look on patrol not marching in downtown Toronto
So yesterday I asked the military if they could verify this happened and explain if this was normal and I was just missing something. Their response is unusually candid
The first question for the Army was "Is it common to have CAF Members march in public parades (not ceremonial parades) with C7s like that, mags in and without a muzzle plug?"
The Army says "No it is not" common for soldiers to march in public parades with there C7 rifles displayed this way, with magazines in and no muzzle plug
Army on how this happened if its not regs "Normally, weapons are not carried at such events. The decision to have personnel in full Fighting Order was made by the local commander and was not in keeping with the Canadian Armed Forces Manual of Drill and Ceremonial."
In other words, troops cannot carry their weapons like that out in public, it is against the rules
The military says that the Commander of 4 Cdn Div is following up with the unit and will be issuing orders that will prohibit troops from carrying weapons at similar events in the future.
"The Commander 4 Canadian Division is following up with the unit and is issuing additional direction to the entire division prohibiting the carriage of weapons at similar events."
The Army goes on to say that the ONLY time weapons are to be carried in pubic is on ceremonial parades or military demos like a tattoo
Question two for the Army was: is it common for troops to display their firearms as they are being carried here (many soldiers I talked to referred to it as their weapon being at the ready). The Army says "No. It is not common."
Q3 for the Army: has this happened at other similar public parades where the CAF marches like Pride for example. Army Answer: "It never happens at Pride or similar events because it is not appropriate. It was not appropriate in this instance either."
Q4: the troops seem ot be walking out of formation AND walking with rifles. Does that follow regulation? Army A: "It is typical when marching in such parades to walk out of formation, but never carrying weapons."
Army "Any parade in which weapons are carried would have to adhere to the Canadian Armed Forces Manual of Drill and Ceremonial" and this one breaks those rules
So in short according to the Army they were: in the wrong formation, wrong uniforms, wrong kind of parade to have their weapons. Would have to be in formation, in a ceremonial parade (vs public civilian one) and have them shouldered
