Fair is fair. The Canadian Wheat Board used to be the only place grain farmers could sell their wheat. It was a good idea in theory to leverage better prices by having a much higher volume than individuals could negotiate. But the government broke it up because we don't want monopolies. Guess what? You don't heard people bitching about that anymore because more choice is always better for both producers and consumers.
