"Mamas, don't let your daughters grow up to be Girl Scouts".
Everything liberals and feminists touch turns to evil.

Quote from Robin Roberts, about Jussie Smollett interview:
“I’m a black gay woman, he’s a black gay man,” she said. “He’s saying that there’s a hate crime, so if I’m too hard, then my LGBT community is going to say, ‘You don’t believe a brother,’ if I’m too light on him, it’s like, 'Oh, because you are in the community, you’re giving him a pass.'”
“It was a no-win situation for me,” Roberts added. (end quote)
Of course! It's not about finding the truth without worrying about who you alienate. Don't wanna upset the lower tier (base) nor the upper tier (DS handlers).

I agree. The bigger issue is, a reporter's job is (or used to be) to find the truth regardless of any repercussions. It doesn't matter who is gay, straight, black, white, Dem or Rep, conservative or liberal, Christian, atheist, etc. It doesn't matter who is offended, hurt, legally damaged, etc. - The truth is what matters.
It's a sad state of affairs when finding, and then telling the truth makes someone unpopular and ridiculed.
